First, what is going on with Georges St. Pierre? Can anyone challenge him? Can anyone take his belt away? Or stop him from doing the same thing to them again and again for five rounds? Tune in and hear what we have to say. Also, if GSP was so much better at striking, why was it that he was the one who left the Octagon with a smashed face while Shields left looking his Sunday best? Why wasn't GSP able to knock Shields out? We have a variety of interesting thoughts. Also, what about Mark Hominick vs. Jose Aldo? Who was it that gave all five rounds to Aldo? Did they even see the last round? Come on. Plus, Machida vs. Couture? We honestly don't think there's much to say besides that Couture should never fight again and Steven Seagal is very likely paying fighters to say he taught them stuff. What other explanation could there be? Those are just a few of the nuggets we touch on as we cruise down a river of conversational gold. Then we call up MMA coach Greg Nelson to chat about training Brock Lesnar and his Ultimate Fighter team in Las Vegas. Tune in and hear some answers to the questions burning a hole in your brain. Tune in and find out why, like there's any mystery about our reasons. Hint: We don't want to watch him die. Getting back to Fedor, does that guy need to learn some jiu-jitsu or what? Is he going to improve his ability to hang with guys like Werdum and Silva on the ground? Why wasn't Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueria able to do that when he fought Fedor years ago in Pride? Don't miss our guesses and finger-pointing as we try to explain it. What about the other fights? What happened there? We cover most of it, then we move on to chat with Ultimate Fighter veteran Nick Ring, who makes his UFC debut next week against DEEP champion Riki Fukuda. Catch the wacky banter as we take a trip down memory lane, touching on the time Ring fought Jeff, a riot that later nearly happened, and the always-engaging topic of knee surgeries and sobering conversations with concerned doctors. All this, plus his thoughts on the match, memories of being in the TUF house and almost-predictions for the rest of the card. If this show was soup, it would be "Mmmmm good"!</itunes:summary><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:block>no</itunes:block><itunes:duration>01:09:32</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>MMA, Mixed Martial Arts, Podcast, FCF Radio, Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva, Nick Ring Interview</itunes:keywords>

UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort Review, UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch Preview, Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva Preview and Chris Lytle

On this episode of Full Contact Fighter Radio, host Jeff "Wombat" Meszaros and co-host James Kellaris debate the issues of "UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort" where Anderson Silva defended his belt in incredible fashion, knocking out Vitor Belfort with a front-kick to the face that he said he got from Steven Seagal.&nbsp; Is that insane or what?&nbsp; What the heck is going on there?&nbsp; Is that a joke or what?&nbsp; Tune in and hear the ferocious debate then hang on as we discuss the other issues such as:&nbsp; Why was Seagal wearing protective-shooting glasses?&nbsp; Also, what was the deal with the mask that Silva wore to the weigh-ins?&nbsp; Then it's time to turn to the fight between Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin.&nbsp;&nbsp; Can anything even be said about that?&nbsp; Not so much, so we move on to chat about Jon "Bones" Jones.&nbsp; Is he like a character out of Street Fighter 2?&nbsp; Which one?&nbsp; What's going to happen when he fights Mauricio "Shogun" Rua next month?&nbsp; Opinions vary.&nbsp; Then, after a smattering of other statements, we move on and talk about "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva" where Fedor Emelianenko will attempt to end his losing streak of one fight by smashing yet another opponent who suffers from gigantism.&nbsp; Plus, Andrei Arlovski takes on Sergei Kharitonov.&nbsp; What's going to happen there?&nbsp; Who will they face for the next level of the heavyweight tournament?&nbsp; Tune in and drink in the info-tainment.&nbsp; Then hang on as Chris "Lights Out" Lytle stops by to share his thoughts on the Silva/Seagal situation, plus his upcoming fight against Carlos Condit in Australia as well as the rest of the card for "UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch".&nbsp; If that isn't enough of a show to satisfy your hunger for mediocre podcasting then you're officially unreasonable.<BR><BR>FCF Radio covers the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
